Have Confidence in Adonai, The Lord.

Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!

Hoping you have had a day to replenish your soul in God and in His Word.

It is good to have confidence in the Lord our God and to be able to hold to the Truths about His Name, His Character and His Attributes – so that in difficult times and in joyous times, we can walk confidently knowing Who He is and He is for us!

Benefits of knowing Him as Adonai – Lord, Master, Owner:

Genesis 15:1:  He IS my Shield, My Protector — My responsibility: Do Not Fear.

Psalm 123:2:  He is our Gracious Master — My responsibility:  Keep my eyes on Him.

Psalm 145:14:  His Sustains me, provides food, satisfies my desires —  My responsibility:  Bear His reproach, who shall mock His Name?  Psalm 89:50.

Psalm 141:8:  He does not leave me defenseless — My responsibility:  Take refuge in Him.

Psalm 119:125:  He will let me know His testimonies– My responsibility:  Seek Him and Ask for Understanding.

Judges 6:14:  He will be with you — My responsibility:  Go where He sends me.

Redeemed People — Deuteronomy 9:26

Kings and Rulers — Psalm 2:4

His Works —  Psalm 8:1-8

The Wicked — Psalm 37:12-13

The Whole Earth — Psalm 97 & Psalm 114

How often do I tell other about the great things GOD & JESUS have done for me? (for us?)

He is Faithful:  Amen!

Adonai – He makes us new!

Preparing to write more about Adonai today and Lauren Daigle is on 91.1 FM — You gave your life to give me mine – you break my chains – you plead my cause —  Amen!

Yes, Adonai has done all this.

It is good for us to remember that Our God is a God of order – in all respects.

And yes, He is our sufficiency –

It is important, however, to recognize Him and acknowledge Him as our Lord and Savior,  before we can fully understand and grasp His sufficiency, His Almighty Hand, His purposes and His ways, His sovereignty.

Adonai – Supreme in authority; Absolute Ruler –

Lordship to GOD means:  total possession of me and my total submission to Him as Lord.

Remember the definition of Believe?  The 3 “c’s”?  Conviction, COMMITMENT, Conduct?

So submission to the Lord is not new — it is something you have already decided upon when we Committed to Believe on His Name for Salvation.  Also, Submission is not a “negative” term as the world would have one think — Submission brings about obedience and obedience brings about freedom.

Perhaps no one has ever told you about His Names and so some of this might be very new for you to read —  Let’s go to His Word to find out more about His Name:  Adonai.

Look in your Bible at Luke 6:46 -“Why do you cal Me, “Lord, Lord‘ and do NOT do what I say?”

(What might he be saying to you today?)

This btw is a good application question for every Believer, right?

We do not say to our children — don’t call me mommy or daddy if you are not going to do what I say – do we?

No – we instruct, guide, love our children to protect them to lead them to be safe but also to raise these precious young people up to be able to be respectful and helpful people — ultimately our goal is to be to raise our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord (but that’s a different topic for another day).

You may have a boss or someone in authority over you at work —  when they ask you to do something — and you don’t do it — it doesn’t remove them from the authority they have over you at your job, does it?

Well, Jesus died on the Cross for our sins – and He is and has always been Lord — but He is a gentleman and will not push us to trust Him as Lord – until our hearts understand and recognize that we need Him, want Him, desire for Him to be our Lord.

Does that make sense?  I know some of you would word this differently – and more eloquently — but am hoping the main point comes across and provides a little more clarity.

Application — So Can you call Him “Lord” and not do the things that He has said?

Romans 10:8-10: Read it on your own – but starting in verse 9:  “if you confess with your mouth (confess – to agree with God) Jesus as Lord (we do not make Him Lord – He is Lord) – and Believe (3 – c’s) in your heart (what?) GOD raised Him from the dead, (what happens?) you shall be saved.

vs. 10:  “for with the heart man (does what?) Believes, (what happens?) – resulting in “R”, and with the mouth he confesses (agrees with GOD – that I am a sinner and need a Savior — even Mary believed she needed a Savior — check out John 2), resulting in Salvation.

Salvation:  (Again, I just go to Youdiscovertruth.com – go to the Scripture – tap on the Word and find the definition to give a clearer understanding of the Scripture I am studying).

savior, deliverer. Safety, deliverance, preservation from danger or destruction.
(I) Particularly and generally: deliverance from danger (Heb. 11:7; Sept.: Ex. 14:13; 2 Chr. 20:17); deliverance from slavery (Acts 7:25); with apó (575), from (Sept.: 2 Sam. 15:14); with ek (1537), from enemies.

Saved from:  The Power of Sin, the Presence of Sin:

Matthew:  1:21:  “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His Name Jesus, for He will SAVE His people form their sins.”

Isaiah 53:6:  “All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.”

2 Corinthians 5:17-21: “Therefore if anyone is IN Christ, he is a new creature; the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.”  Exciting — When we Believe and are in Him — we ARE NEW!!  Yea!

Salvation involves:

Repentance:  Change of mind resulting in a change of direction.

Believing Jesus is Lord – Submitting to His Lordship, His authority over my life (which is not my own because I have been bought with a price, the price is the precious blood of Jesus shed on the Cross for me — 1 Corinthians 6:12-20).

Psalm 16:2: “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”

Lastly for today —  Philippians 2:10-11:  “that at the name of JESUS “every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Adonai) to the glory of GOD the Father.”

Application:  Is there any area of our life that we are withholding from the Lord?

Application:  Do you – today need to bow the knee to Jesus and trust/beleive Him as Lord of your life?

Application:  Tell the Lord, today, you are ready to serve Him and allow Him to be Lord over every aspect of your life, trusting Him to do good in your life for your best and His glory.

See you tomorrow.  We will look at the benefits of knowing Him (John 17:3) as Adonai.

Again, am praying for those I know are walking through heavy trials at this time. 🙂

Lord – Is more than “just” a Word

Good Morning Special Creation of GOD — are you holding fast to the Truths He has given you — of who He says you are In Him? —  I so hope we all are!

Remember that “weeping may tarry through the night – but JOY comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 — so whatever you may be carrying or going through this day —  look up and ask the Lord Your God to restore the Joy of your Salvation. Psalm 51:12.

ADONAI – ADONAY – Lord:  That is with a capital “L” – small case “ord” – there is a difference in the Word of God — Lord = Adonai – Lord, Master, Owner.

First time seen in Genesis 15:2:  “And Abram said, “O Lord GOD (O Adonai Jehovah (Yaweh).  Abram recognized God as Lord.

Adon is a Hebrew word meaning “lord” – Adonai is the plural form of Adon and always refers to GOD as Lord or Master.  When Adonay and Yahweh appear together His Name is Sovereign Lord, or Lord God.

Remember the question:  what are we striving for?  Today is the day to ask ourselves: “Who am I following, Who am I listening to, Who am I fully committed to?

The Name of God:  Adonai – indicates “relationship”.

The question is:  When did I commit myself to trust in Adonai and have a relationship with the Living GOD and Jesus Christ His Son?

The Word BELIEVE is a Key Word in the Gospel of John:  A Key word meaning a word that is repeated and unlocks the meaning of the text.

Believe means more than an intellectual assent — meaning — “oh yeah – I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins” but then living — “doing what is right in our own eyes”.  I like to remember Believe with the 3 “C”‘s:

(You can find this definition in the Vines Dictionary — or you can also find in when you look up the word Believe if you are using the YouDiscoverTruth App.

  1.  Firm Conviction (persuasion) that I am a sinner and need a Savior.
  2. Total Commitment (surrender) to the Lordship (Adonai) of Jesus Christ.
  3. Conduct that proves or shows or manifests that persuasion or surrender.

Philippians 1:21:  “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain”.

Do I get up every morning and commit my day to Jesus to Live for HIM – or do I just get up and do my own thing without a thought of the GOD who loves me and saved me and upholds me with His “R” (righteous) Right Hand (Isaiah 41:10).

Because truly, if I am living the same way I did 10 years ago, 5 years ago, 1 year ago with no change in my inner being, I must ask myself – who am I serving in this life – that is like a vapor (James 4:14), and have I, did I, am I really BELIEVING in JESUS and is HE Lord of my life?

More tomorrow —  I am praying for ones, I know of, that are walking through “The valley of the shadow of death” – trials and tribulations at this time — know this:  You are not alone —  HE sees you and HE loves you, He is for you.

Oh Lord GOD – I confess to you today — I need to just stop- read Your Word (intentionally not just casually) and think on and rest in the Truths about WHO You say You are. Teach me to evaluate truthfully, and examine in my own life who I am living for, and if I am of the faith. (2 Corinthians 13:5)

Thank You Lord – for Jesus, Beloved Savior and Lord, that He, Jesus, is the One Who died for me, was buried, was raised, and sits at the right hand of the Father – ever interceding for me!  And He promised the Holy Spirit to now live in me, leading and guiding me into all Truth.  (John 14-16).

Thank You for this day that You have made – I will rejoice in it and watch and see what You do — as I seek You with all my heart, and Trust You, and Live for You.

All praise, glory and honor to You, GOD.

Have a Glorious Day!  May His Joy be your Strength today!

All – Sufficient GOD – EL SHADDAI

HE is the One Who pours forth –

GOD is not only the One Who Created and maintains the universe, Who Sees and Knows the beginning to the end – And HE maintains a covenant with His people.

GENESIS 17:1-8 “I AM GOD Almighty, walk before me and be blameless.  I will confirm my Covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”  HE said to Abraham – when Abraham was 99 years old.

There is much application when we stop and think and listen to what GOD is saying.

  • What am I striving for today?
  • Do I strive to walk with GOD and be blameless before Him?
  • Do I continue to allow things in my life that are hindering my walk with GOD?

GOD fulfills His promises.

PSALM 91:  He is the One who is my Comforter, Protector, Rock, Refuge, Present Help in time of need.

SHADDAI – HEBREW #7706 :  Almighty – Shadday – The Almighty #7699:   Shad – that which sustains, pours forth; #7703 :  Shadad – powerful, impregnable.

FROM YOU DISCOVER TRUTHhttp://www.youdiscovertruth.com/

“H7706 šadday from 7703; the Almighty:—Almighty. A masculine noun and name for God meaning Shaddai, Almighty. The word occurs only forty-eight times in the Hebrew Bible, thirty-one times in the book of Job. This is a name for the Lord—the OT people of faith referring to Him as El Shaddai, God Almighty. The term is found in the passages that report God’s promises of fertility, land, and abundance to them, indicating that He, the Almighty, could fulfill His promises (Ge 17:1; 28:3; 35:11).

The Lord appeared to Abraham when he was ninety-nine years old and identified himself as El Shaddai, God Almighty (Ge 17:1). All three patriarchs knew Him by this name (Ge 28:1‒3; 35:11); as did Joseph (Ge 48:3; cf. Ex 6:3);

APPLICATION:  Are you hurting, troubled or frustrated?  He IS El Shaddai -run to Him – He is your All-Sufficient One – He meets our every need (not want).

APPLICATION:  Are you having difficulties at home?  Ill? Lonely?

TRUST   (Believe) in El Shaddai – rest in Him to show you, guide you to the right answers, to help you find your way.

PSALM 84:5:  “How blessed is the man whose strength is in You.”

Vs. 11, 12:  “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

12 O LORD of hosts, How blessed is the man who trusts in You!”

PSALM 9: 9-10:  “The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble;

10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.”

Our GOD is living and powerful, and HE is able to keep every promise that HE makes.

He told Abraham that He would make him a great nation and He did.  (Genesis 12:2-3).

He is the Covenant Keeping GOD – (Covenant = solemn, binding agreement, promise).

Psalm 33:16-22:  “The king is not saved by a mighty army; A warrior is not delivered by great strength.

17  A horse is a false hope for victory; Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength.

18  Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness,

19  To deliver their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine.

20  Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.

21  For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name.

22  Let Your lovingkindness, O LORD, be upon us, According as we have hoped in You.”

You Are All-Sufficient –

Thank You for working out Your Divine plan and will for my life;

Remind me daily, Lord, to run to your ALL-Sufficient arms for help.

I need You, LORD, every day!

Thank You, GOD that You are strong when I am weak.

Lord, Help me to know You as my All-powerful GOD, the One who sustains life.

Increase my reverence and respect and awe of Who You Are – and to Know Your Name!

You are enough for me.

Father, I cling to these Truths today.

May I be a blessing to those Who You place in my life today –

and may You be glorified and honored –

May all praise, glory and honor be unto You,

El Shaddai.

El Roi – The GOD Who Sees – He is acquainted with all your ways.

“A person’s life is a reflection of his heart”

Because we know that God has said that “you shall KNOW the Truth will set you Free”John 8:32 – it would behoove us to look at as many Scriptures that show us GOD as EL ROI as possible —

Remember when we study the Truths of God’s Word — Cross References are Key in helping us see all of God’s Counsel correctly.

Today in my quiet time with the Lord – PROVERBS  5:21

“For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the LORD (Jehovah), AND He watches all his paths.”  He is acquainted with ALL your ways.  —  sometimes it is good just to camp out in a passage that will reaffirm GOD’s Truth for you — Psalm 139.

God sees those who are hurting you.

JOB 31:4 “Does He not see my ways, and number all my steps?”

2 CHRONICLES 16:9 “For the Eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the eart that HE may strongly support those whose heart is completely HIS.

PSALM 119:168 “I keep Thy precepts and Thy testimonies, for all my ways are before Thee.”

JOB 34:21 “For HIS eyes are upon the ways of a man, And He sees all his steps.”

Do you feel despised?  So did Hagar (Genesis 16)

Do you feel alone?  So did Hagar

Do you feel betrayed?  So did Hagar

What did God instruct Hagar to do?

GOD does see all things – Nothing is hidden from His sight.  He is the Sovereign GOD of the Universe and He is always working.  “He does not forsake those who seek HIM.

(Psalm 9:10).

Run into the strong tower and to Him and call on His Name and rest.

MATTHEW 11:28
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
We will discover more about the GOD who Sees You — tomorrow.
Have a glorious day!

Lord, do you see me?

Do you sometimes feel that there is so much going on in this world, so much going on around you that you wonder – does anyone see what I am going through?  Is there anyone who cares?

This week we will look at God – as the GOD who Sees.

El Roi – from Genesis 16:13 – first time the name of GOD – El Roi is used.

Who is involved?  Abraham, Sarai and Hagar.

God had promised Abraham an heir in Genesis 15.  Genesis 16 there were still no children.

— Instead of listening to Elohim – Creator of all;

— Instead of listening to El Elyon – Most High GOD – Sovereign Lord; who opens the womb and shuts the womb – nothing is too difficult for Him,

…Abraham listens to wrong counsel on this occasion.

Hagar is now pregnant – Genesis 16:4;and Sarai despises her – even though it was Sarai’s idea.  Sarai does not take responsibility for her error but casts blame upon another.  Abraham did not help out the situation, either.

How many times have I tried to help GOD because He wasn’t doing what I thought He should in the timing that seemed right to me; in order to fix a situation the way it seemed He should? (Genesis 16:2)

Hagar flees and in vs. 7:  “Now the angel of the LORD found her by a spring”

GOD goes after Hagar, and in vs. 9 He gives her instruction through the angel of the LORD.

Hagar called the name of the LORD  El Roi (Beer-lahai-roi – the well of the living one who sees me ) “Thou art a GOD who sees” or “Thou, GOD do see me”.

GOD sees us – There is NO hiding from GOD.

  1. He keeps you.  Psalm 121 (seek your counsel from the LORD not from the world).
  2. He IS acquainted with all your ways.  Proverbs 5:21, Psalm 139:7-12.
  3. He watches over HIS Word to perform it: Jeremiah 1:12
  4. He looks from His dwelling place on all the inhabitants of the earth.  Psalm 33:13-15
  5. He knows where you are – He is Omniscient (all-knowing); Omnipotent (all-present) and Omnipotent (all-powerful).

God knows and God sees.  Trust in Him today — He does not need our help (Genesis 16:2).

GOD sees you – and He cares for you and He sees your affliction. Cry out to Him today.

Abiding Peace in El Elyon – God Most High

God is watching over every event of our lives.  God does not miss anything.

Again, I go back to Joseph – Genesis 45 – 50 and was thinking last night – “how was  Joseph able to get any sleep in his jail situation for 2 years?”

He must have  had a solid understanding of Who GOD is.  That GOD was & is in control:

Of events, angels, history, people.  (which seemed to give him hope and drive to carry on).

Joseph had a solid trust, faith in God that brought perfect peace.

Isaiah 26:3:The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.”

Acts 16:  Is a chapter about Paul and Silas who encountered some trouble – “a girl having a spirit of divination” (Cross Ref:  Leviticus 19:31; 20:6; Deut. 18:10; 1 Samuel 28; 2 Kings 21:6; Isaiah 8:19) vs. 16, who began following Paul and crying out (screaming, shrieking, to call aloud) “These are bond-servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming the way of salvation.”

She continued to do this for many days.

(What has been plaguing you this week? Did something or someone try and stop you from living your life to the Glory of God the Father?

The truths continue Acts 16:19-24— and Paul and Silas were inflicted with many blows and thrown into prison.

VERSE 25:  “But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing Hymns of Praise to God and the prisoners were listening to them;”

I have to ask myself: “how am I responding when I find myself in the midst of hard and difficult situations?”

Then there’s an earthquake and everyone’s chains were unfastened and the jailer and his household were saved.

Not to diminish the GREATNESS of what happened here — but notice the response of Paul and Silas:  Application.

They are praying and singing —  Wow!

  • God delivers His people – Genesis 14:20;
  • God turns temporary defeats into complete victories.
  • God turns that which makes no sense to complete His perfect and orderly plan.
  • Knowing God as El Elyon should put a song in our hearts, and fill us with His joy.

And while HE is working, people are listening and watching our response.  And in Acts 16 people were saved and brought into the Kingdom of GOD.

Do you know someone whose action(s) are not making sense?  (Kind of like the girl in Acts 16?)  Pray that their “reason” would return to them so that they will bless the Most High God and Praise and Honor Him Who Lives forever.  Daniel 4:34-35.

Romans 8:28-30: And we KNOW that GOD causes (present tense:  keeps on causing) ALL THINGS to work together for good to THOSE who love GOD , to those who are called according to (HIS) purpose.”

  • Thank you Oh Most High God-that you are in control of the Host of Heaven (Daniel 4).
  • And in control of Governments (Daniel 2:20-23).
  • And in control of our lives (Deuteronomy 32:39).
  • And in control of circumstances, health, finances, events (Isaiah 45:5-7)
  1. Thank you Lord, that nothing can thwart your Divine Plans.
  2. Thank you Lord, that all You have planned for my life is for my good and Your glory.
  3. I may not understand it right now, and I may not like it right now, but I am crying out to You, GOD Most High to hold me close and allow me Lord to be filled with the Peace of Christ which surpasses all comprehension.
  4. May my mind dwell on the things that are True, dear God.  (Philippians 4:8) – And to take every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ.  (2 Corinthians 10:5).

In Your Mighty, Holy Name.  Amen.

Next Week:  El Roi – The GOD Who Sees

Valentine Petals

So today is Valentine’s Day and I am sure I  come across as the kind of wife who has rose petals strewn all over the bed and floor for when my husband comes home from work….

Well what my dear husband came home to was me frantically changing out of my sweats, that I’d been wearing all day, so we can go out and the bed was strewn with something all-right – strewn with his clean underwear and socks that I was now sorting and folding.

It actually kinda made me giggle — which was better than how my day began —

Received some unsettling news that made me walk around the house and grit my teeth going “Grrrrr…” for quite a while — so a walk was definitely in order before I chipped one of my teeth off.

Wow! God can really do some great communicating on a walk —

He drew my focus back to – Him, of course.

To fix my eyes on the author and perfecter of my Faith.

To think about His Sovereignty – and that He has control over all situations.

To think about – Joseph.

Joseph from Genesis – how did he handle the difficult and unfair and daunting circumstances that came to him that he did not invite?

That is where God had me.

So as I walked to King and Country: “Fix My Eyes” —  “it takes a soldier who knows his orders to walk the walk I’m supposed to walk…find faith in the battle, stand tall but above it all; Fix my eyes on You.”

“The things of earth are dimming in the light of Your glory and grace,

I’ll set my sights upon heaven – I’m fixing my eyes on You.”

And my thoughts reflected on Joseph – He was sold into slavery by his own family; we don’t read where he broadcasted about this wrong done to him.  He was thrown into jail for a crime he didn’t commit, in fact in Genesis 39:9 he says “How then could I do this great evil, and sin against God?”

He didn’t make constant complaints or threats, or write on the jail walls (ancient email) justifying his case and why everyone needed to agree with him.

He was a man who accepted where God had him and waited on The Most High God for the outcome, whatever that would be.

And the Word says Genesis 39:21:  “But the LORD was with Joseph and extended kindness to him and gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer.”

vs. 23 “The chief jailer did not supervise anything under Joseph’s charge BECAUSE the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made to prosper.”

God is The Sovereign Ruler over all — He knows all, He sees all, and He is going to complete His plan.  He never leaves anything undone, and He is not caught off guard by anything.

Will close today with this Scripture — May the Lord comfort your life with these words – He sure did comfort me today!

These are HIS Valentine Petals strewn before us, reminding us that He is Sovereign, He is Mighty, He is Powerful and He is to be Praised.

1 PETER 2:23  “and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;
Have a restful evening and Remember:  God Loves you – He is always thinking about you, and He wants His best for you.
Thank you, LORD.

The God Most High: El Elyon – He has the situation under control.

This next Name of the LORD designates God as the sovereign ruler of all the universe.

In pondering about God –  Who IS Sovereign — it brought to mind a prayer request received in early December about a lovely young High School girl who had been in a terrible auto accident with two friends. Daily her dear mom updated MANY as to the current condition of her lovely daughter, for the purpose of prayer and encouragement.  She would give details of the accident and how the miraculous hand of GOD was upon and with these girls.  Every day I was so uplifted and in awe (in the midst of the trial this family was/is facing) of the family’s faith, and testimony of how God was working.

Today, going back and re -reading the first journal entries made me think immediately about the Sovereignty of The Most High.

Isaiah 46:9:  “Remember the former things long past, for I AM God, and there is no other; I Am God and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, “My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all my good pleasure… Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass.  I have planned it, surely I will do it.”

Another real-life event came to mind as well: Genesis 37 – 45:  Joseph – “The Dreamer, Genesis 37:18”. Whose brothers hated him. (Genesis 37:8); plotted against him (Genesis 37:18); Sold him (Genesis 37:27); and lied to their father about his demise (Genesis 37:32).

In the Sovereign economy of God – who had & has a plan – Joseph was taken to Egypt (Genesis 39),  found favor in Pharaoh’s sight and then went to jail, thanks to Pharaoh’s lying wife.

Sovereign God was with Joseph in jail – Genesis 39:21 & Genesis 40.

Sovereign God “jogged” the cup-bearer’s memory. Genesis 41:9 – (at the end of two full years).

Sovereign God – in His perfect timing – gives Joseph the ability to interpret Pharaoh’s dream (Genesis 41:16), and then gives him some wheels (Genesis 41:43) – and What? set him over all the land of Egypt.  That’s right! God is all over this situation!

The rest of the story is one to read on our own — as it is a page turner —

The key here is in Genesis 50:20 – “And as for you, you meant evil against me, but GOD meant it for good in order to bring about “as it is this day” this present result, to preserve many people alive.”  God’s Sovereignty. Amen.

Daniel 2:20 “Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever for wisdom and power belong to Him.  And it IS HE who changes the times and epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is HE who reveals the profound and hidden things.”

  • So dear friend, a couple of things to close on today:
  • You are not alone – in whatever situation or circumstance you find yourself in.
  • You are special to God – He created you, remember?  And He has a plan, a special plan for YOUR life.
  • God has not forgotten you.
  • His Timing is perfect – He works in our circumstances for our Best and for HIS Glory.

We are only seeing part of the Tapestry that He is weaving together —  He is not finished with His Masterpiece yet – You are part of the weaving –

Thank Him, Praise Him today that He has it all under control.  Praise Jesus, that He sits at the right hand of the Father and intercedes for us (Romans 8:34).

Thank Him that He is always working;

Fill your mind and heart with the things of the LORD.

Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinks within himself, so he is.”

vs. 12 “Apply your heart to discipline, and your ears to words of knowledge.

vs. 17 Do not let your heart envy sinners, BUT live in the fear of the LORD always.

vs. 18 Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.”
